- 1 cup Chopped Nuts (Optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. In a small bowl, combine with flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Fold in the flour mixture gradually. Stir in chocolate morsels and nuts (if using).
- Drop a rounded tablespoon onto ungreased, light-coloured baking sheets. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until a light golden brown color. Monitor the baking process closely, aiming for a slight underbaking of the cookies, as they will continue to cook after removal from the oven.
