Ingredients
3/4cup Medium grain rice (or 3/4 cup long grain rice)
1 1/2cups Water
1/4tbsp Salt
4cups Whole milk
1/2cup Sugar
1/2tbsp Vanilla
Cinnamon
Instructions
Frist, Get the rice, water, and salt to a boil over medium-high heat.
Cover and simmer for approximately 15 minutes, or until the water absorbs.
Stir in milk and sugar, and cook uncovered over medium heat for 30-40 minutes, stirring frequently—especially toward the end of cooking.
When the rice and milk combine to form a thick, porridge-like consistency, the pudding is ready.
DO NOT OVERCOOK, or the pudding will be solid instead of creamy once cooled.
Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla. Additionally, get a bowl or cups ready.
If you prefer, you can sprinkle cinnamon on top.
If you don't want skin on the surface, cover it directly with plastic wrap.
Cool it and enjoy it.
